How to Use the Printify Collection Creator
A complete walkthrough â from connecting your store to running multi-collection jobs and saving setups for future reuse.
The Printify Collection Creator lets you upload one artwork image and automatically create products across multiple Printify templates â all at once. One design becomes a t-shirt, a hoodie, a mug, a tote bag, and more in a single automated job.
1 Artwork Upload
Applied to all templates automatically
Up to 8 Templates
Per collection in a single job
Up to 5 Collections
Run simultaneously (plan dependent)
First, make sure your Printify store is connected in Bulk Creator Pro.
To connect your store:
- Go to Connections in the top navigation
- Click "Add Printify Connection"
- Enter your Printify Store ID and API Key
- Click Verify â the connection status will turn green
đĄ You only need to do this once. Your connection stays linked for all future jobs.
From your Dashboard, click "Printify Collection Creator" or navigate directly to it from the sidebar. You'll land on the main Collection Creator page.
At the top of the page you'll see:
- The Saved Collection Operation Setups panel (covered in detail below)
- Your connected store selector
- The step-by-step collection setup form
Decide how many separate collections to create in this job. Each collection gets its own artwork and its own set of product templates.
Collection limits by plan:
| Plan | Collections per Job | Jobs per Month |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | 1 | 1 |
| Advanced | 2 | 5 |
| Pro | 5 | 10 |
Click the number buttons (1â5) to select how many collections to configure. Each will get its own tab below.
Use the tabs labeled Collection 1, Collection 2, etc. to configure each one independently.
Artwork Upload
- Click the upload area and select your artwork file
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG
- Max file size: 100 MB (20 MB for SVG)
- The artwork is uploaded immediately and applied to all templates in that collection
Collection Name
- By default, the name is auto-filled from your artwork filename
- Toggle Customize to set a custom name (e.g., "Summer Drop 2026")
- The name is your internal label â it does not appear in your Printify store
â Multi-collection tip: Switch between tabs and upload a different artwork for each collection. Each collection is fully independent.
Templates are the Printify products (t-shirt, hoodie, mug, etc.) that your artwork will be applied to. Select up to 8 per collection.
How to add templates:
- Browse the template carousel â templates are loaded from your connected Printify store
- Click "+ Add" on any template to include it
- Added templates appear below the carousel as product cards
- Repeat for each collection tab
âšī¸ Max 8 templates per collection. This limit exists to keep jobs within Printify's API rate limits and ensure reliable completion.
Each added template becomes a product card. Expand a card to customize how that product will appear in your store.
Title
Use artwork filename as title, or set a custom title per product
Description
Use the template's existing description or write a custom one
Tags
Keep template tags or add your own comma-separated keywords
Publish to Store
Toggle on/off per product. Off = saved as draft in Printify
Bulk controls (top of product list):
- Publish All toggle â enable/disable publishing for all products at once
- Expand/Collapse All â show or hide all product cards simultaneously
Once all collections are configured, click the large "CREATE [N] COLLECTION(S)" button at the bottom of the page.
What happens during creation:
- Your artwork files are uploaded to Printify
- Collections are processed sequentially (Collection 1 â 2 â 3âĻ)
- Each product is created and published (if enabled)
- A per-collection progress card shows live status, ETA, and API calls
- Completed products appear in your Printify store immediately
âąī¸ You can navigate away. Jobs run in the background and persist even if you leave the page. Return any time to check progress.
Each collection gets its own progress card during job execution.
Pending (grey)
This collection is queued and hasn't started yet.
Running (blue border)
Currently creating products. Shows live count and ETA.
Done (green border)
All products created. Click to expand and see the full list.
Click any card header to expand it and see exactly which products succeeded or failed.
Printify limits API calls to ~200 per 30 minutes. If hit, your job pauses automatically.
When a rate limit pause happens:
- A countdown timer shows when you can resume
- Click Resume to manually continue when ready
- Enable Auto Resume to have it continue automatically
- All progress is saved â nothing is lost
